🔧 Hardware Development Engineer (Embedded Systems)

Were supporting a high-tech innovation-driven company based in the Zurich region in hiring a Hardware Development Engineer to strengthen their electronics team.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking hardware from early prototypes to industrialized products, with real impact on high-precision sensor technology.

🧠 What youll be working on

• Designing analog & digital electronics for embedded sensor-based systems
• Developing hardware from concept prototype series production
• Creating schematics, managing component libraries & designing PCBs using Altium Designer
• Translating system needs into technical requirements & hardware concepts
• Supporting hardware bring-up, testing & design validation
• Participating in product qualification activities, including EMC & ESD readiness
• Collaborating closely with R&D, firmware, test & quality teams

🛠 What were looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience in hardware / electronics design
• Strong background in embedded hardware development
• Solid hands-on experience with Altium Designer
• Confident in both analog & digital circuit design
• Practical experience with:
• Prototype testing & characterization
• EMC / ESD design considerations
• Comfortable working with lab equipment and real hardware challenges

🎓 Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar
• Structured, curious and solution-oriented mindset
• Enjoys teamwork and technical problem-solving
• Fluent English required
  🇩🇪 German skills are a plus, but not mandatory
