Your Mission

As a Senior Application & Solution Architect, you'll take ownership of the architecture and technical roadmap for a portfolio of mission-critical applications.

You will work closely with Application Owners, Engineering Teams, Project Managers, Security Specialists and Enterprise Architects. Together, you will ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with long-term business goals.

What You'll Be Doing

Application Architecture

Define architecture concepts and solution designs for complex business applications

Advise stakeholders on architectural best practices and technology choices

Evaluate technical solutions and architectural patterns

Ensure alignment with governance, security and data protection requirements

Drive architectural quality throughout the entire application lifecycle

Strategic Transformation Projects

You will play a key role in major modernisation initiatives involving:

Replacement of legacy platforms

Modernisation of critical operational systems

Technology lifecycle management

Future-state architecture planning

Delivery of sustainable long-term solutions

Impact & Collaboration

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

Work closely with Enterprise, Security and Data Architects

Contribute to architecture boards and governance forums

Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

Shape long-term technology strategy and roadmaps

What We're Looking For

5+ years of Solution Architecture experience

Strong Application Architecture experience & good know-how in Infrastructure Architecture

Experience with complex business-critical application landscapes

Experience defining solution concepts, architecture standards and technology roadmaps

Technical Environment

Azure (exposure required, deep expertise not essential)

Enterprise Applications and Complex Application Landscapes

Systems Integration

Security & Governance

Data-Driven Platforms

Languages

German C1 minimum

Good English
